Aaron Ferguson, an Ottawa-based artist, explores the realms of photography, scanography, and AI-generated art with a unique perspective shaped by his experiences with color blindness (color vision deficiency) and type 1 diabetes. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick.

Ferguson's work spans minimalist still life, expressive portraiture, and candid street photography, with a focus on challenging traditional ideas of perception and visual representation. He strives to resist the conformity of popular media platforms and to stimulate thought processes that often go unnoticed, ultimately seeking to dismantle the pervasive influence of media on our daily lives.

His efforts have been recognized in the annual juried SPAO A+ Exhibition (2018, 2020-2021), where his image "That Empty Feeling" won the People's Choice Award in 2018. Furthermore, Ferguson's scanography and AI-generated art have been exhibited in venues across New York City, Rome, Liverpool, and Asturias.

Ferguson's limited-edition prints and NFTs (non-fungible tokens) have found their way into private collections around the world. In March 2021, Aaron became one of the first scanography artists to delve into the world of NFTs. Among the collectors of his artwork are artists Anna Condo, Fernando Gallegos, and Alejandro Cartagena, as well as American entrepreneur Mark Cuban.
